Has anyone installed the Fumoto valves for draining coolant from the engine block? If so what is the correct size to order. I have found it to be a bad experience. If no one has installed the valves does anyone have a suggestion to avoid the mess and taking a coolant shower?

LMAO. I remember the first, second, ..... and nth time doing this. Each time holding a pan to no avail. Seems that more always gets on you than gets in the pan. Nice idea that you have about the possibility to use Fumoto valves but I haven't seen one with a pipe thread.

I thought someone already did it here (Clinton?)?

I use them for oil drains, not coolant.

They work fine with oil and no pressure. Not sure about anti-freeze and 20 psi? I looked at one on the shelf and can't see what seals the ball.

It's a spring loaded steel ball on a nylon-like seat.
