Phoenix engine assembly plant tour

I had a tour this morning of the Roush factory where they assemble the new FGT EcoBoost engines. I witnessed the assembly from bare case to running the completed engines before shipping to Multimatic. Unfortunately under NDA so I can't share any photos or info.

Such an amazing production process. All owners should be confident that these engines go through dozens of tests to assure a quality build.

My contacts have offered tours to other FGT folks. Let me know if you are in MI and want a tour.

Below is a photo of the Jack Roush's museum. He has one of the Petunia mules (the heritage on the photo)

Sweet !! Jealous !!,, did you happen to get a close-up look at that Heritage work horse car? The back of it was burned up. Mark McGowan told us an interesting story about the car.

I will definitely take you up on the offer for the tour next time I'm in town!
