I had the pleasure of attending Larry Coe's 75th birthday party! It turned out to be a party of It's " a small world ".
Larry is going to try to get more involved with GT activities. He attended rally 10 and some of you met him at Le Mans this year. He's a great guy !! he has a stable of 05 and 06 GT.. and he's originally from Detroit! Larry is the gentleman in the first picture with me for those of you don't know him look for him at the next GT function.
From It's a Small World category. In attendance was a gentleman named Buzz.( the guy with the sling ). He just happens to be the neighbor of Special K in Park City and he crashed our track day at rally 12..
Then I was talking about GT's with a gentleman named Howard. He's from Ohio. ( Pictured with the polka dots shirt.) And he asks" do you know a guy named Tim Cantwell? "I said I sure do! One of our distinguished brothers..
And here's the kicker. Larry introduces me to a gentleman named Richard Riff. Turns out he's the chief engineer of the software program for the new GT.! Larry said when he walked up and saw my car in the driveway his face lit up. Very interesting gentleman !!
I'm going to try to hang out with Richard a little more. And if my car ends up to be a little faster than the others ... well, I'm just saying....:biggrin
