While taking a drive today, the tuning knob fell off. Looks like it was held on with some type adhesive. What should I use??

Do you have a close up of the post on the radio and the inside of the knob? It looks like it broke off on the post.

It Did not break, it is just glued on. You can put the knob back on and you can see where the adhesive was stuck so it did not break.

Was just wondering what adhesive..contact cement??

I'd probably use epoxy

I wouldn't use epoxy--it's not easily "reversible." Try contact (rubber) cement first. That's probably what was used in the first place, and 11 years later, it loosened up. Check the old adhesive to see if it feels slightly gummy, like contact cement. If it works, great. If not, try something else.

Reminds me of an old Jag I had. Gorgeous, but the radio knobs always fell off!
