Some pretty "wow" photo's. Appreciate the nose to nose differences between 2006 and 2017.

Be careful on that bumper. I have seen a few where it melts the wrap around the exhaust comes out. I would recommend not wrapping that area. It gets very hot and will damage the wrap and might damage the paint. What product are you using? Ours is going out Monday for the install. Using Xpel Ultimate.

Ok thx. Will keep an eye on that rear bumper. The reason we double wrapped there was because the exhaust spits out a lot of black junk (carbon), which is not the easiest to remove. At least this way is fairly easy to take off that portion only of the wrap to replace (assuming it doesn't melt as you point out).
Using 3MPro Series.

All the cars on track at Miller at this years rally cooked the film around the exhaust. Badly

I removed the melted film and thankfully no damage [emoji106]

I think the altitude levels in Utah had the new GTs running rich. When Ron Clines car got back here from the Utah rally his clear bra around the exhaust outlets was also melted and he did not put his car on the track at all. Just took it on a couple of the drives. Luckily it pulled right off and the paint was perfect underneath. The clear bra around the exhaust on my new GT has not melted at all.

Good news John! Did you replace the film or leave it off? Curious if it is lasting closer to sea level.

Entirely possible that the altitude was a factor. With regard to your car, have you put any miles on it?

The clear bra around the exhaust on my new GT has not melted at all.
