the Motor city Region of Shelby American is looking GT owners to bring their cars to the Ford World Headquarters glass building this Sunday June 11 for the Shelby American Car Show. they have a special designated area and tent for just Ford GTs. several of us have already committed to being there but they are asking for as many owners that can bring their GTs. set up is at 8:00-9:00am on Sunday.
anyone that's from out of state is more than welcome with a cars and coffee the day before on Saturday at the M1 Concours property right off the famous Woodward strip. they too are have a special area for the Ford GTs. so far at least 12 have committed with their GTs. weather should be incredible for the weekend!
also, the following Thursday is the Jack Roush Museum open house at 5:00pm. usually a couple hundred cars show up with the museum open to everyone. several prototype Ford GTs on display along with many famous race cars and Jack's personal car collection. nice evening with food and the Roush store will be open as well.
