Hey, I just noticed I monopolized the forum. Has Dr Frank ever done this? Not!

Most posts? DBK is way ahead. But that's an impressive display above for sure!! Well done

Longest member?
Not sure if he is talking about having one of the first join dates; if so, not even close- quite a few of us are members for 6 months or more longer.

I guess you could think he might have been suggesting a kind of different meaning there...:eek

If BONY were still with us (may he RIP), his post count could very easily be somewhere around 40K by now...'quite possibly even more (he averaged over 3k per year). Regardless, it's not at all likely anyone else would even be close. And that's just on this forum. He was active on a number of others as well.

How he found the time given everything else he did ('involved with Hinds Hospice, Make-a Wish, Police & Fire organizations, Rotary, Boys and Girls Clubs and God only knows what else in addition to running his business) is beyond me.

He wasn't your 'average' individual. That's for darned sure...

+1 Andy!

Pockets, thanks for remembering Daniel. I still have his 'always onboard' sticker on my car.

I will add this, Friday May 19th marks my 5th anniversary as a member of the Ford GT Forum and this week 5 years ago, I took delivery of my red 2005, 4 option, 155 mile GT. Happy Anniversary to me!! I no longer own that particular GT but I do still own my 2005 blue, 4 option GT.

Bony 12,121 (that was in 5 years, so corrected for 12 years it would be 29,090)

I just checked, and according to his profile, BONY joined the Forum in Sept of '05...we know he left this Earth in March of '09.

So, 'way I figure it, that would be r-o-u-g-h-l-y 42 months of posting (3.5 years) as opposed to 5 years worth would it not? :shrug

Anyway, that's how/why I came up with my shoot-from-the-hip 'guesstimate' of "at least" 40K. I did all the math in my head...so it's more than possible I could have failed to 'carry a two' or I 'blew' whatever else somewhere along the line!

'Matters not. There's no question BONY would be today's post king by a large margin regardless. :wink

:cheers
