We make a 4-point roll bar for the GT350/R as well. We kick back the harness bar so that the driver's seat retains full motion for taller drivers. Our downtubes allow the bar to be used in the R or in a normal GT350 with the rear seats retained. Only the plastic side panels are modified - and these side panels are the same across all Mustang trim levels - Base, GT, GT350/R. Our design also provides better clearance for the shoulder harness pivot so that harness retraction remains unaffected.

It's like a roller coaster bar for the kids sitting in the back. Haha.

LOL. But just to be clear, we would NEVER advocate utilization of the rear seats after installation of the roll bar. Even a minor accident could cause someone's head to contact one of the bars and this could be fatal. The point is that we do not require a Rear Seat Delete Kit - which is both an added cost and sometimes not very aesthetically pleasing. With our Roll Bar solution the rear seat can stay as it is already very light and it is good for NVH.

If you don't make them wear seat belts they could climb the cage like a Jungle Jim at the playground. That'll keep the little kiddies occupied while you are driving!

BtwoG - that is my neighbor/friend's GT350R. That's cool. I passed it on to him. He may come to the next Rally as he has become a Ford & GT fan through me. The 350R is his first Ford.

FWIW, I have a lead on a 1000 mile '17 Avalanche Grey 350 R. Owner is in his 70's and wants to sell for 5k over sticker. Loaded with electronics package, etc. sticker was 68k. I have no vested interest in this deal. PM for contact info.
