I double filmed(with Xpel) the lower rockers on my 06 GT.It seems to work well.Perhaps the same application would help on the NFGT?

Nothing a little Texas ingenuity can't handle.

Perhaps a word of caution to future owners thinking the NFGT engine can be modded and/or “tuned” for more power like the 5.4L in our 05-06. The engines are completely different and in my opinion playing with the tune or modifying inlet/exhaust systems on the new V6 will lead to premature engine failures VERY quickly. Not that some will not try, but let’s see if that turns into a costly endeavor.

Stop that silly talk. Need to put internet pressure on the guinnie pigs so the rest of us have a clearer mod path. :biggrin

LOL!
I have no doubt that some may try. Hey they spent their $0.5 million let them forge ahead.
But the dollar stakes are quite a bit higher now on the NFGT.:eek

Not enough room, but I bet you could put in two of those little Martin V8s that they use in Radicals and Ariels. V-16 with almost 800 hp!

I'm hearing the same thing too. The engine comes from Ford in a very high state of tune. That's most likely the reason for the fuel economy numbers.

Will anyone trust their closest NGT service dealer for regular maintenance or ship their car?

Some comments...
--My delivering Dealer will also be my servicing dealer.
--my delivering location is the ICON Garage
--remember there is also a recommended 600 mile break-in period on these engines.
--after seeing the paint on these 2 vehicles, and several others, I can't imagine needing "paint correction "(whatever that means) on these new $500,000.00 vehicles.
