The kit comes with 6 different wheels
Aluminum - Gloss Black
Aluminum - Silver
Aluminum - Graphite
Aluminum - Gold (Heritage Wheel)
Carbon Fiber - Gloss
Carbon Fiber - Matte
Although it looks like the two carbon finishes may be shown on the standard wheel design, for the kit. There are not little miniatures of the carbon wheels, which could confuse some people.

Here are the actual wheels in the kit. It's crummy screen grab from a video, but you can see the two different designs.
I'm still curious why the entire brakes (calipers AND rotors) are painted the different colors, though...

It seems they just forgot to 'mask' the rotors when they painted the calipers.
So the rotors are painted too. (which in reality would not be feasible)
There is a round magnet that allows each rotor / caliper to be attached to the backside of each wheel.
That way you can 'mix and match' any rotor / caliper color with any of the 6 wheels.
Who knows... maybe later level 'Carbon Fiber Toy- boxes' will come with the rotors un-painted.
