Okay, so I bought a "used" 2016 GT350 last July with 70 miles on the odometer. After putting on some miles driving around and a run over to Las Vegas to visit Skyrex, I took it out to Skyrex's Mojave Airport event and ran 174.2 mph in the 1.5 mile with a rolling start. Rolling start only added about 1.5 mph to the top end.
Next was a trip to Willow Springs big track (2.5 miles - 9 turns). For those that have been through our GT School, you will be very aware of the course. This completely stock, untouched GT350, running on the factory Michelin Pilot Super Sports set at 32 psi, ran a best of 1:31.2 which is only 2.5 seconds slower than I did with my stock GT running on Hoosier R6 tires. I was very pleased and impressed. Next time I'll try some sticky tires and really see what it will do.
I'll post some action photos of me catching air over the hump at turn 6 when I can.
