I know much if this is out there, but interesting nonetheless. Any insight Dave?

Just that they've been working on it for a while. I know some people on it and it'll be legit. Long way off though.

Wonder if they will offer an "O.J." package. That would be cool.

Vintage Bronco

I didn't know where to post this but this seems as good a place as any. I am currently having a 1971 Bronco Sport completely restored. The body was painted on Christmas day. I'm not sure why the painter felt it necessary to go in on Christmas but it was an awesome Christmas gift. I am going to keep the look of the Bronco vintage but add some resto-mods: fuel injection 365 HP 302, 5 speed manual, power folding F-250 running boards and a black and white hounds-tooth interior plus more. I had the original door jam VIN tag reproduced too. It should be finished in March/April.

Cool project! Gotta love them early Broncos. Be sure to post up more photos, when completed (or better yet, as you go along)!

Im a fan of EB's we have 2. The maroon is a 69, uncut, with a 302 3 speed. FAR from restomodded, it drives like a 40+ year old vehicle.

The yellow is a very early 66 "U13" (that's the vin for roadster, as it was factory built with out doors or a top). Was built in September of 65. Its very original, even has its original exhaust, and California emissions smog pump. A whopping inline 6 and 3 on the tree.

Both by today's standards are pretty rough to drive, but so much fun at the same time. Its an event at 45-55 mph.

It also looks like Jeep will bring back the Grand Wagoneer. I wonder if it will have plastic wood grain side wraps! Plastic door wrap aside, it was one of the classic workhorses of the day.

Well I think Ford missed a great opportunity. Jeep came out with the Renegade small SUV, I see them all over and the dealer lots are full of them. Been a huge seller. If Ford did the Bronco like the new generation Mustang and brought out an entry level unit (first Mustang only had V-6 available) then progress up to a Bronco with Raptor technology what a hit with 3 to 4 models it could be, just a thought

The front fenders are reminiscent of the EB fenders

The company that is doing my 1971 Bronco restoration has sent me a few more pictures of my Bronco. I thought I would pass them along to those that are interested.
