If you like this kind of stuff, Michigan is very much ground zero for a lot of the design of the era. I live not far from Cranbrook so there is Saarinen everywhere. Bertoia, Eames, Knoll...all there. From time to time I drive through the campus just to gaze.
It's a shame so many of the great homes of the era got torn down for new drywall mecca garbage, but they are around. There are a number of Harold Turners around, including one for sale just up the street from me. Jamal just bought a really beautiful Turner home that is all wood and glass. When he's done tweaking it, it's going to be amazing. It's already close. No garage! Lots of the design guys from Ford live in the area and have really nice/enviable MCM homes.
