Same lineups from LM return in the 66-67-68 and Tony Kanaan takes the third seat in the 69.

IMSA: Kanaan to make Ford GT debut at Rolex 24

"When Larry from Multimatic called and said he wanted me to drive, it became my best Christmas gift of the year," Kanaan added. "My first time at Daytona I raced in a Ford Mustang; that was 1997, so it will be great to race another Ford car 20 years later."

Kanaan drove in the CGR EcoBoost DP a couple years ago. Will be interesting to see how he does in the GT...

Gentlemen,

At our Indy 500 gathering back in 2006 Tony put on a great show and Charley and I were rooting for him to win. It didn't happen that day though he was running near the front and was in the lead for a while. An excellent driver and a cool guy. Great choice. Ford has certainly not spared the horses in seeking out the best available talent to drive these magnificent GT's.

Unfortunately when Billy was upgraded by the FIA to platinum driver status he became ineligible to run in Continental. Crappy!

TK is an excellent addition to the Ford GT team. His demonstrated open wheel skills and maturity nicely complement the GT! Ganassi knows how to build a winning team!
