As you plan your journey south, consider Midland and the Chaparrals. I'm a a trustee for the Petroleum Museum and gladly will set your group up with a private showing and visit. At the moment, all 6 cars are at the museum.

One of the forum members Paul Perea is having his 20th anniversary car show to benefit Presbyterian Hospice and The Children's Hospital in Albuquerque New Mexico which is on the way to the Austin Rally and it is the weekend right before Sept 9-11. We wanted to personally invite all of you on the way to Austin to have a pre party pit stop. So far we have 15 FORD GT's signed up for this AWSOME event held at the International Ballon Fiesta Park. Everyone will get premium parking on the grassy field. All FORD GT guys that come to this event will get a special trophy designed and built by me Bennie Martinez I'm the same guy that makes all the cool rally metal art. Friday night load in cars, Sat morning finish loading in cars Saturday all day car show ending with a Gala that includes free drinks and food along with live auction of man cave items and Sunday cars and coffee and event ends Sunday morning. We are expecting OVER 300 CARS for this AWSOME event. And Sunday night only for FORD GT members a private party at my house to celebrate. Monday a day off for everyone to explore NM food and activities. Tuesday leave early AM and convoy to AUSTIN for Rally 11. We are looking forward to all that can make it and promise you a EPIC time while in NM with us to help a GREAT cause.
