Anyone on the Forum see this 1966 Ford GT #1055 at Goodwood this year. This is the GT owned by Gavin Henderson from UK that was on our showroom floor in 67, sold to Edsel Ford, then to John Mecum Jr. And now in UK. Gavin ran it two days in the hill climb. This is the car Edsel and I talked about at Rally 10 in Detroit. Gavin Races it all over the UK. I sent Gavin the original Gene Hamon license plate for his collection. If any of our members happen to have a picture of # 4 at Goodwood please post. This is part of my Ford History from way back. I hope to visit Gavin in the near future to see this part of History of 49 years ago. Enjoy.

I sat in this same #4 car in 1967 in Huron, South Dakota. An experience as a teenager I will never forget.

We live in a very Small World don't we. That car we had for 3 months turned me on to wanting a Ford GT at age 24. Fords GT Tour worked as it started our quest to own one. Thanks for posting.
