it would only make sense the GT350R a $65K gets carbon wheels why not a $400K all about saving weight

I will take that option please

2015 FIA rules say:

Wheel material

The metallic material is mandatory.

[this is a quote from the FIA rulebook. The translation from French is probably literal.]

Also:

Minimum weight, tyre removed:
• Front: 7.5 kg
• Rear: 8.5 kg

Rules could change for 2016.

See rule #94.

I don't know, that CF seems OK, with me - I really enjoyed dinner last evening, that was nice of you to provide us with that exceptional '62 Bordeaux. :lol

Interesting - my 2015 FIA WEC Sporting Regulations only go up to 91 /2 covering "The Appendix of Each Event." :frown Hmmmm  :biggrin

Coffee required. Sorry my memory isn't what it used to be, see #88: :biggrin

And importantly, only #92 is what's applicable. Best to have a fluent French (read: hot girl) person on your team. :wink

There is only one supplier and al the wheels look the same. From what I have heard, I don't think there will be CF wheels on the NGT.

For us Michiganders. Will snow tires fit on these CF wheels?

Nope. Studs are against the law. Just Sears circa 1975. They are my favorite, had them on my Bobcat.

Funny you say that. I ran my first car 85 mustang GT through the winter with studded snow tires in Missouri. Amazing what you could plow with that car.....
