$69,995.00 base for GT350R...anyone know if these guys are close in their number? Seems to be the right number. Under the Z28 sticker (but Z's have sold in low $60's).

Need to follow my own advice :)

I know...I know...excited and desperate for information. I always tell my clients to be aware of websites that aren't the recognized industry "leaders" as you never know who the crack-pot is at the other end of the computer...didn't follow my own advice :) Anyway, just so excited that they are bringing the R model back...here's a photo of my R model at Monterey last year...Chip Hane is driving.

Here's a GT350R anyone can purchase on May 2nd in Ft. Worth, Texas at RM Auction. #108 was originally owned by Gene Hamon Ford, Texas City, Texas. I haven't seen this vehicle in 50 years and will be there to see it sell as well as taking pictures of it. I'm filling my bucket list while its in Texas.

Bratzo (driver) and Louis (navigator) back in the day and re-united with 5R530 last year in Monterey...Bratzo had the oil cooler moved from in front of the L front tire after he had two go down at speed! I spent three days with him and his family; he could write a book about his adventures in that car. Awesome guy. Louis was a fanatstic fellow as well!

There are several people whose opinions on cars I value highly that tell me GT350R is a seriously special car to drive. Beyond being a very, very quick car on the road course, it just hits all the right buttons from behind the wheel.

Wish we had a decent chance of getting one of those too.

Would love to tool around in one while waiting for the NGT lottery to play out.

My Dealer tells me he "may" get one. ( GT350R ) Won't even comment on the NGT.

GT350R won't be impossible to get, especially after the first few months.

Spoke with a Ford rep at the NY show earlier this week. He said pricing details will be released in October with first vehicle deliveries late November. He reckoned they'll be high 60s/ low 70s depending on the options, which will be very limited.
I want one really badly. Of course it has to be wimbledon white and guardsman blue like the originals, and to match my 'Gene Hamon 5R108' clone that I'm building for vintage racing. When my wife heard the price she said "that's cheap" so I guess that is my official go-ahead to figure out how to get on the list!

Unfortunately, no Wimbledon White according to the leaked order guide. I hope this is wrong since I want the same color combo.

Well shoot, Oxford is hundreds of miles away from Wimbledon! Maybe the oxford white/ deep impact blue is close? Maybe we can get a petition going at the Rally for them to bring back the proper colors?
I must say, when I was painting my 65 a couple of months ago I almost took the Wimbledon White paint back to PPG - it looked way too yellow. But once laid on it became that lovely creamy white that the Shelbys all had,

The Wimbledon White on the 2015 anniversary cars is nice. I wish Ford would make this a special order color for the GT350.

We're storing a 15' anniversary car that sits next to a white 14 GT500. The Wimbledon is probably better as a standalone but it definitely looks very yellow next to a modern white.

There is a 50th in Wimbledon white in the gaudin show room. 30k am. Been there since last fall. Obviously doesn't want to sell it
