Pull the struts, pull the pins, lift it off.

Since the previous responses missed a few points: don't forget to unplug the wiring harnesses for the window defogger. It is necessary to have at least two people, better three, to do it. Two to hold it and carry while one pulls the pin on each side. Make sure you have a nice, soft, protected place to set it down. Put blue masking tape on all the edges so when you remove, it won't damage if you sloightly bang something.

gao I see this is your first post so welcome to the forum! As this is your initial contact, I presume you are a new owner. But new owner or not, if you do not own a Ford GT Service Manual, I highly recommend you invest in one.
