Almost 32 years to the day after her old man miraculously passed the Va Bar exam, my first born just found out she passed the NY Bar.

( excuse the bragging - this is the only car community I am comfortable posting family events in)

Thanks, guys. On the specializing question she is fortunate to be in a very large, prestigious NY firm doing litigation. They kind of throw you in a pit and the strong survive. Lots of 16 hour days.

Congratulations!!! About 4 years ago, I went to my daughter's "swearing in" ceremony, in Brooklyn. The judge that was doing the officiating, asked the group, "how many of you have jobs in the legal profession"? Less than half of them raised their hands. Congratulations to you, and especially to your daughter!!!!

Good for her! My uncle got his law degree when he was in his 50's for intellectual property/patent. After he finished he decided he liked criminal better.
