Can't wait to see what this bad boy will do with some REALLY sticky tires.

The bar has been raised. A lot.

Trap speed is low for 650/650. Definitely carrying that extra poundage.

Yeah, the increase in weight is disappointing. We really haven't seen a decrease in weight in anything but the hypercars, and the 2015 F150. :)

If GM follows the "Lotus" less is more philosophy on weight for Corvette production, I suspect they'll loose market shares. No self respecting, slightly overweight, gold chained, chest haired, middle aged, balding, wearing Hawaiian shirts man will fit in one. :lol :lol :lol

1.2 lateral g's is some kind of stick, and that's on Michelin sport cups, not Hoosiers. Braking performance is really impressive. Assuming braking modulation/feel is typ GM, it is going to be a killer track car.

Ouch - We've all had a bad day. That place has little room for error at the limit.

Little is an understatement.... Lime Rock is more forgiving that that place...

Once again reinforcing that the Corvette is a heckuva deal for the price

You know, I never thought about the parallels between the two, but you are right. Both are fast circuits with no runoff to speak of. Nurburgring just kind of works on you, corner after corner for 14+ miles.

I think customers are starting to take delivery. Anyone here get their hands on one yet?

2 pedals? Booo.

It is sooo hard to dislike this car (beyond this example being an auto....). But Im a Ford guy. Hoping for something similar.. or faster, under our tent, someday....

Boy, you really are a hard guy to please. :lol

So, just for the heck of it, give me an outline/summary of your perfect target vehicle and an acceptable selling price. For this exercise let's limit the technology to that which exists today (in production-any OEM), it must be street legal, have a warranty and transaction price will be MSRP.

You never know, Santa will be here in just a few days. :wink
