Most car mags were expecting a rollout of the GT 350? At the NY auto show or the 50th celebrations.

That was one of those rumors that was ill-founded from the start.

It's gonna be a little while. In my opinion, worth the wait.

No GT350 at NYIAS, nice yellow 5.0 (looked like was track pack), the limited launch white one, red, and one hanging out in the lobby. Unfortunately missed the car on top of the Empire state.

Lots of recent rumors about a hot little two seater Lincoln. Anyone can confirm, deny or add to the rumor mill?

It is a very safe bet that Lincoln will use the new platform.

OK, so the aural quality has potential, but this is crowded territory, lots of viable choices for the $$. So you need at least 2 differentiators; 1) color palette, and 2) will it be 'best in class' in GTLM against the Corvette C7R? If not, Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect $200 :bored

And, note to Ford marketing, something to consider; http://www.motorauthority.com/news/...t-camaro-z-28-parts-for-exclusivity#src=10065

Very interesting.

Thanks for posting!

It appears FPC's are quite challenging to design in large displacements due to engine rotor dynamics. It will be interesting to see how the SVT team addresses this issue.

I wonder if there might be drive line durability issues too because of the pulsed nature of power delivery. Ti rods and valves with a conventional crank might have been a better approach for high rpm capability.

I see posts everywhere about a GT350 unveil today at COTA in Austin, haven't seen anything yet.

I'm really looking forward to your impressions. I'm a plebeian at heart and get more excited about Mustangs than the latest supercar. I've already developed a facial tick thinking about the GT350.

spoke with a Ford marketing guy. he said the GT350 will be introduced as a 2015 1/2 with a 5.1 or 5.2 litre engine with turbo and possibly twin turbo which makes stupid power which may have to be dialed back or a track key option. the only issue with the car from what I'm hearing is the price tag. way over the sticker of a 2014 GT500 somewhere in the seventies.price probably depends on other manufacturers price tags as well on their muscle car entries.

I think that came from that Mustang6G site. Those guys get an incredible amount of "confirmed" information comically wrong.

That guy was either intentionally blowing major smoke or wildly misinformed!

Just got back from Ford dealer convention in Vegas today. They showed us photos of the car but gave no specs. Just told us "coming soon".
