The 2013 GT500 is an awesome machine and I am pursuing this automobile with great interest. I have seen some images of the 2014 GT500. There will be a body design change from what I can determine. I have also heard that Ford will market a smaller version of the Mustang into the European market, ?4 cylinder dual overhead cams, etc. All kinds of rumors.

So the questions are:

1. Stay with the 2013 GT500?
2. If anyone has information on if the 2014 GT500 will exceed the performance of the 2013 then it makes sense to wait.

Appreciate any comments. :thumbsup

The redesign wont happen until 2015. The 14 is supposed to be a duplicate of the 13. I have a 13 and really like it, its like having a GT packed into a muscle car. I would rather have a 13 than a 14 due to it being SVTs 25 anniversary and the year Shelby passed. Probably wont help values but is more meaningful.

If you like the way the car is now, buy it. That's my advice. It's a very good car as is and is a blast to drive. The GT500 and the next SVT Mustang (which you'd be waiting a couple years for) don't share much in common, and in my opinion they are aimed at different buyers.
