Yep, I followed almost the same path as a kid except after the Super Rat I switched to TT bikes so I could ride them to school and on the trail. I rode a TT bike all the way up through college (got me closer to the classrooms at Texas A&M).

Funny thing is I ride the Rupp minibike the most and would never dream of selling it, but the Super Rat just sits. I could never find a Super Rat that was really built correct from the ground up, they all had problems, so I decided to buy one that was 90% close and pay to have it built that way I would get it right. It took me a year to find a rear fender for that bike while we were restoring it. I am a stickler for authenticity and it's the only one I have ever seen that is 100% authentic, although I am sure there must be others (not many). If you really get serious, I might consider letting it go to the right home. I have an original NOS manual, NOS vintage racing jersey, and a few of the items for the bike as well.

I have a 700 pound Viper V10 engine sitting in a crate in my garage. It is VIN 00002. (Iacocco has 1) I would love to make a table out of that but my wife might object to bringing it in the house.

There's another thread on here with a current supplier, Alternative Auto.

There have been at least two sources over the years, maybe more.

I got mine recently through Alternative Auto. I think most of the guys bought them long ago, when Saleen was selling them.

Gulf GT, Tomy, and Midnite, the information and pictures you provided were so helpful.

It was a challenge thinking about where to locate this in the office, and ultimately led to a slight twist. I'm pretty happy with the end result.

Here she hangs in the lobby at the I-5 Self Storage facility in Tustin, CA:

See post #25, worked to get a bracket fabricated that would hold the Wall Art at the desired angle, in this case, approximately 45 degree.

I make both the coffee table and the wall units. I am doing some different cuts right now for a forum member that have never been done before. Mine also include a front splitter in abs plastic and the side rocker pieces for more detail. I have probably made about 20 or better of them already. I sold one of each color including Sonic blue coffee tables to a collector in Ohio.
