Should I Buy 05 Or 06 Gt

I know there really isn't much difference except maybe for color choices between 2005 and 2006 and I expect the discounts to be the same from MSRP. Will one be better than the other? Will the 06's have a little better Quality?

All GT's are still Handmade. It is a personal preferance. You will still have to go thru the Dealer BS to get an 06. I am sure that you have available to you the same information that we all have (unless you know someone at the plant) to make an educated decision. Follow your instincts.

I wouldn't let the year make my decision.
I would choose by color, options, price and availability.

If I were a collector I would go with the 2005 since the car was built as a tribute to Ford's 100 years and since there have been no significant changes to the vehicle.

I was faced with the same descision and decided to go with a 2005 pre msrp increase GT. I figured that in a month or two you could find a 2005 ( and maybe 2006) for 5 to 10 grand off but more than likely it would be a color I did not want or a post price increase car. So for me, the right color car, above #500 or so to avoid the "speedi sleeve" issue, at the old msrp, right now, was the way to go.
