I always wondered if there would be capital gains on a personally owned vehicle. (I get it if it is owned corporately). If so, wouldn’t there also be capital lose??? I think that would open up a whole new can of worms. Maybe someone with more knowledge could chime in.

I think polito ford has a bracket that is wedged between the splitter and body. I did a custom bracket that attaches to the splitter and is easy to remove….if I want to.

Easiest way (short of buying a new one,,,if available) is to take it out then take it apart and put the flapper back together. Rough sand or scratch with a knife, the tongue part and its receiving part then apply a gas resistant sealant and reassemble. I did mine a 3 years ago and it is still...

I had a few issues as well, with another carrier, and moved over to the cooperators. this was a referral from one of our fgt members.
