Would you mind telling me who your insurance is with? My guy is telling I can only go 1000 miles a year for a hefty price.

This is not just an engine and trans. They are both complete with the accessories, water and oil reservoir tanks, wire harnesses, both computers and shifter cable etc. Removed from a car with 300 miles on it. The chassis is still in the crate. Asking $60,000 for the complete package.

Registration The cost to register my 06 in Reno was $1608.00. $1575.00 of that is basic government service tax for Washoe county (which is a tax deduction) and $33.00 for the renewal.

Anyone having problems passing smog check due to monitors not resetting? Here is my rant. I drove 30 miles to the smog check station I always use to get my certification to renew my registration. The car was clean and passed emissions ok but the monitors would not reset. The smog guy's advice...

Muffler cover If you will look at the pictures in post #30 you will see a custom muffler cover made for the Ford/Borla muffler. It works great! No more heat problems. If anyone wants more info PM me.

Vent heat If you cover the muffler with insulation you will not have a heat problem. 1000deg f on the inside 208 deg f on the outside.

Vent heat No heat no problem.
