    Joe Macura & Making A 427 Sideoiler run 7000+

I also bought a pair of 427 marine engines and they were also one side oiler and one center oiler. That was in the drag racing days, but it is hard to 500ci out of an FE, yet alone 600 ci, and that was the end of my FE collection.

I didn't see the need to shift. I would love to have that broad of a power curve. And RPM range

Any idea who has the 2005 GT Ronald McDonald raffle car

While cleaning out old tax records I came across 100 of The house, Ronald McDonald House raffle tickets. form Madera Cali. Sept 2006 drawing. I'd be happy to forward them to the current owner if he would like a little more memorabilia. Don't have any idea about the car vin. Steve

2013 Shelby GT500 conversion to Shelby GT500 Super Snake

Don't know if you noticed, but 2112 has 4192 posts right above you. At first I thought there was some kind of hidden meaning to your numbers. I do tend to over analyze.

    GT350 track car build

I like the location for a road race car. Less likely to accidentally set it off. We will probably mount ours in the same spot. Last time I was on fire I was still about 180, so getting out really wasn't an option. Breathing is still a necessity though. I did my deep breathe while making sure...

    GT350 track car build

This might seem silly and you probably already know, but look at that red handle and then sit there in the drivers seat for a minute and think, if I ever have to pull this thing, inhale deeply first. When you actually are on fire, if you didn't program your mind in advance, you might not...

    Possible gas tax hike

I've never seen a tax get smaller, and I've never seen a government have more money then they can spend/waste if necessary to make sure they get next years full allotment. Either party. It would be different if you could look around at most any government run operations and say, wow, they are...

    ZR1 faster lap then NFGT

Without you chasing different dreams, we wouldn't have all the great write-ups, so for you I say, thank you, and go for it. If that new vette comes out, rent it, flog it, and write about it. But this time, remember to keep the GT.

    GT350 track car build

I absolutely love this build. We are getting together Sunday to put in a window net, fire system, and pull the trans to replace a small leak on our 91 escort lemons car, and I'm thinking about how much fun you are having, vs the basic tasks in front of us to be ready for the next season...

    GT350 track car build

Didn't think that screwdriver would last long in there. This is an exciting build to follow. Please keep the updates coming. Some of us need to live vicariously. Too much winter for me to want to wrench much on my old stuff. Steve

Sale of NFGT only one of the awe inspiring events at Barrett-Jackson

How did the older Shelby's fare? I am probably going to let go of my 1968 GT 350 this spring.

    Joe Macura & Making A 427 Sideoiler run 7000+

That is a beast. I figured with those RPMs and the 2 keyway crank you were dry. With those gears do you spend much time below 4K? Dana makes sense for survivability in the wonderfully harsh conditions you have created. Given what your car is in its entirety, you should be the bell of the...

    Joe Macura & Making A 427 Sideoiler run 7000+

I'd love to see suspension pics if possible. Sounds like a wonderful car. I got away from the FE 's late 1990s to the 385 series because it was so easy to gain cubes for drag racing, but I've always had a soft spot for them. What are you running for oiling and ignition?
