Hello everyone, First time posting
Last Saturday I got delivery of my new 05 GT. White/Blue #771
Today-- X-mass eve , 8am ,
Wanted to take the car out for my first ride, But after starting the car and looking down at the instrument panel, I noticed that the Tachometer was not working:confused then I glanced over at the other gages and was stunned to see that the oil pressure needle was at zero :eek ...
X-mass eve and all dealers are close, anyone have a clue what I should look at , any sugestions.
Merry Chrismass and Happy Holidays to all

don't panic, your battery is not fully charged, put the car on the trickle charger.
enjoy the car and Merry Christmas!

Sal, also check to make sure you battery terminals are on tight. Make sure you DON'T use a fast charger, you'll make the battery spit up and get acid all over important parts.

Don't worry this is very common. Several of us have had this issue when starting the car with a semi-low battery. There is a very good thread on this that you should search. Just start your car and let it run for a while. Once it's been running you can shut it down and restart it and your guages will work properly.

Yup, I hate to tell anyone to do a search, especially a newbie, can you imagine the feeling of starting a new GT and seeing zero oil pressure?
