A.J Baime - Author of Go Like Hell - at FGT Rally VI!

Just wanted to let you know that this morning I spoke with A.J Baime, author of "Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari, and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans", and A.J will be joining us as a special guest at Ford GT Rally 6! This will be a great chance to get A.J in front of the GT crowd to give the inside scoop on the book, as well as all the research that went into it. What better venue than MMP as well, with the wall of champions and the 1-2-3 car, as well as the Sebring winning Mark IV.

If you haven't read the book, it's a must read. It's also being turned into a major motion picture(awesome). Last thing I read was that Michael Mann was going to be the director and that Brad Pitt and Josh Brolin were being thrown around to star.

So bring your copy if you have one or buy one if you don't so you can get it signed. Now we just need a couple volunteers to let A.J loose on the track in their cars. :biggrin

I read A. J.'s book on m way to the Rally in Austin and enjoyed the contribution to the Dave Despain's Speed Channel recent article about Carroll Shelby, so it is cool he can make it to Utah.

It was a regular column, with Pulitizer Prize winning author in '60s.
