Andrew at Exoticare (Forum sponsor) has a great boot and billet sleeve that will dress that up nicely.

with only 800 miles on the OD, I wonder how that mark got there??

almost looks like a burn or rust mark. Where part of the country did you buy the GT from?

I am thinking the shaft got nicked/scratched, then winter moisture started to do its evil.

What did the previous owner say it was?

What color is your GT?

Agreed. Both will look great (I'm biased, I've got them in my car too). Plus Andrew is right there in Toronto.

Tooth paste, the lowest grit rubbing compound, and it's cheap and readily available.
