I've REALLY liked that car since the 1st time I saw it, and if they make it, I'll own one. UNLESS, of course, all that outrageous "PREMIUM" foolishness rears it's ugly head again. 'Not goin' there. We all saw what happened to the ZO6 "new car prices" just a short time after people had paid big premiums to buy THOSE, didn't we.
I paid a premium to get my FGT - but ONLY because it truely was a LIMITED PRODUCTION, '2-years-and-you-can-forget-buyin'-a-new-one', situation... and I didn't wanna buy "used".
But, on a car like the 'Vette which will likely have an "open ended" production run? Nooooope. I'm loooooooooong past the, "'gotta have it!, 'GOTTA HAVE IT AT ANY PRICE!", stage in life. 'Nothin' out there I want that bad.
Just MHO. 'Not trying to start a "free market" flap here.
('Pbly shudda just kept my big mouth [keyboard?] shut...AGAIN...)

Some are saying it will look like the angular Caddy XLR clone; the over-arched wheel-well/slit-eye seems a common trend.
The bat-ears rear will probably end up with some lights to mimic the cowl-vents/winglets like below

The split window will be nice, though probably hard to do at $45K price point.
Given its a 2012, with a least 18 months to weed out gouge/gremlins...the buy appears to be 2014, which is 5 yrs away.
The C6 looks like last of classic wedge/fastback with big litre V8; might have to go that route and maybe get this C7 gas-cap as a paperweight
